Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Digital Listing Assistant is a private internal listing-production tool used only by Roger Mitchell / Motiontography for Roger's own Etsy shop. It is not a public seller app, is not offered for public registration, and is not a commercial service for other Etsy sellers. The app helps organize original digital artwork ideas, generate listing assets, validate digital-download readiness, and support draft-first Etsy workflows with manual review and confirmation gates. Access is limited to Roger Mitchell and approved internal admin users.

2. Data Processed

The app may process Roger-provided product details, original artwork files or file references, listing draft titles, descriptions, tags, notes, and minimal troubleshooting/security logs. Etsy OAuth, when enabled, is private/admin-only, scope-minimized, and stores tokens server-side only. The app may process only the minimum Etsy-approved shop/listing metadata required for the approved private workflow.

3. Etsy Authorization

Digital Listing Assistant does not collect Etsy passwords. Etsy authorization uses Etsy OAuth 2.0 with PKCE and the minimum required scopes. Etsy API credentials, OAuth tokens, and refresh tokens must be stored server-side only and must never be placed in frontend JavaScript, localStorage, sessionStorage, public files, documentation with real values, screenshots, logs, or GitHub.

4. How Data Is Used

Data is used for private listing preparation, internal draft organization, Etsy draft creation support, troubleshooting, and security. Final listing changes are manually reviewed and confirmation-gated by Roger.

5. AI Features

AI may help create original artwork prompts, original artwork assets, and draft listing copy from Roger-provided inputs. Digital Listing Assistant must not use Etsy API data to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. If listing draft text is sent to an AI provider, it is limited to Roger-provided product inputs and manually provided listing information needed for the private workflow.

6. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not sell, transfer, sublicense, or commercialize Etsy API access, API credentials, or Etsy member data.
• We do not scrape Etsy or use browser automation to access Etsy.
• We do not analyze competitor shops or copy sellers' content.
• We do not use Etsy API data for marketplace analytics, content scanning, machine learning, or AI model training unless Etsy expressly authorizes that use in writing.
• We do not send buyer marketing or unsolicited messages.
• We do not redirect buyers away from Etsy or replace Etsy checkout.
• We do not manipulate reviews, favorites, views, search ranking, or engagement.

7. Retention and Deletion

The app does not cache Etsy API content beyond approved private workflow needs. Etsy API content must not be retained longer than reasonably necessary and must respect Etsy's current API freshness requirements. Logs are retained only as needed for troubleshooting and security. Deletion or privacy requests can be sent to the support email below. Etsy OAuth access can also be revoked from the applicable Etsy account settings.

8. Security Controls

Production access should use HTTPS, server-side secrets, least-privilege scopes, admin-only access, and token redaction in logs. No Etsy passwords are collected or stored by Digital Listing Assistant.
