Terms of Use

1. Private Internal Tool

Digital Listing Assistant is a private internal listing-production tool used only by Roger Mitchell / Motiontography for Roger's own Etsy shop. It is not a public seller app, is not offered for public registration, and is not a commercial service for other Etsy sellers. The app helps organize original digital artwork ideas, generate listing assets, validate digital-download readiness, and support draft-first Etsy workflows with manual review and confirmation gates. Access is limited to Roger Mitchell and approved internal admin users. No public registration is offered. Access may be modified, restricted, disabled, or revoked at any time.

2. Authorized Use

The tool may only be used for Roger Mitchell's own authorized Etsy shop and listing-preparation workflow. Use of Etsy services remains subject to Etsy's own terms, policies, and developer requirements. Final listing content and listing changes are manually reviewed and confirmation-gated by Roger Mitchell.

3. Prohibited Use

• No public signup or use by unapproved users.
• No Etsy password collection, storage, or transmission.
• No scraping Etsy or browser automation to access Etsy.
• No competitor shop analysis or copying other sellers' listings, product photos, artwork, tags, titles, descriptions, or designs.
• No infringement of third-party intellectual property or violation of Etsy policies, privacy rules, or applicable laws.
• No Etsy marketplace analytics, content scanning, machine learning, AI model training, or AI fine-tuning on Etsy data unless Etsy expressly authorizes that use in writing.
• No unsolicited marketing, spam, or buyer outreach from Etsy data.
• No manipulation of reviews, favorites, views, rankings, search results, or engagement.
• No redirecting buyers away from Etsy and no replacing, bypassing, or circumventing Etsy checkout.
• No resale, sublicense, transfer, or commercialization of Etsy API access, API credentials, or Etsy member data.
• No automatic Etsy activation, renewal, deletion, or unsafe listing update.

4. Data Access and Security

The app must use least-privilege data access. Etsy API credentials, OAuth tokens, refresh tokens, and shared secrets must remain server-side only and must not be exposed in frontend JavaScript, browser storage, public files, logs, GitHub, screenshots, or documentation with real values. Authorization must happen through Etsy OAuth 2.0 with PKCE and the minimum required Etsy-approved scopes, not through this app's admin access form.

5. AI and Original Content

AI features may help draft original artwork prompts, original artwork assets, titles, tags, and descriptions from Roger-provided inputs. Outputs must be manually reviewed before use. The app must not use Etsy API data to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models.

6. Acceptance

Approved internal admin users must accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy through a click-through or equivalent admin access experience before opening the private app.

7. Data Deletion

Data deletion, privacy, revocation, and support requests may be sent to the monitored support email listed below. The applicable Etsy account holder may also revoke OAuth access from Etsy account settings.

AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT THE APPLICATION DEVELOPER, DO NOT PROVIDE THE APPLICATION SERVICE, AND MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE APPLICATION OR DATA ACCESSED THROUGH IT.

The term 'Etsy' is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This Application uses Etsy's API, but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy.
